Who we are

FDRMUN, or the Franklin D. Roosevelt Model United Nations hosted at ISB, is a thrilling and innovative event that invites high school students from around both, Romania and Europe, to step into the shoes of diplomats, debate pressing global issues, and collaborate on solutions to these challenges. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Bucharest, FDRMUN is the perfect setting for young leaders to come together and make a meaningful impact.

FDRMUN is an exciting and challenging conference, born out of the passion and dedication of seven individuals who share a common vision: to create a unique, immersive, and fun MUN experience while making a difference. Our team consists of seasoned MUN enthusiasts, experienced educators, and passionate change-makers – all working tirelessly to ensure that our very first FDRMUN edition is nothing short of extraordinary.

As a conference that values creativity, collaboration, and camaraderie, we strive to create an environment where delegates can thrive and grow, both as individuals and as future leaders. Our goal is to inspire, challenge, and empower each participant to find their voice, think critically, and take action on the global stage.

At FDRMUN, we believe in the power of unity and the importance of giving back. That's why we have chosen to donate all proceeds from our conference to the Romanian Red Cross, an organization that has been making a tremendous impact in Romania and around the world since 1876. Through their humanitarian efforts, the Romanian Red Cross has been providing disaster relief, health and social services, and education to those in need.
